Supplies Needed:

  • Egg Shells
  • Nail Polish
  • Old Candle and Wick
  • Printouts for the Mason Jar Print

Instructions:

Make sure you don’t crack open the entire egg shell. Open only the top portion for the candle to burn. And wash them. Drop the nail polish in the water, I have splattered them in the bowl of water

Drop the nail polish in the water, I have splattered them in the bowl of water, you can marbleize however you want them to be.

Time to melt the wax! I collected all the tiny floating candles leftovers and melted them.

Now, pour the wax into the egg shell. The shell is going to be very hot after you pour the wax, so avoid touching them immediately. Let them cool.

Wondering what those printouts are for? Follow the instructions here to make this sticker to stick to the mason jar.

I designed this quote “Keep Calm It’s Almost Easter” with the bunny silhouette as Easter is around the corner and I totally love it how it turned out.

  1. Hey there! I’m visiting from #fandayfriday and I just wanted to say WOW these are so beautiful! This might be a super newbie question, but how are you able to get to the entire eggshell unharmed?! I would love to try this!

    1. Hey, Sareeta! Thanks for stopping by! It’s very simple.Just crack open the egg using a spoon, clean it gently (i did break an egg or two while washing them :P) and use the egg carton to hold it all the time! I used it for drying, for holding while pouring the wax, etc. After it cooled down and I lighted it up, I think I never broke any… Thanks for your question, now I realize I just missed this point in the post…
